So if you are thinking to open CSC Center, then you must fulfill its eligible criteria. So lets see its eligibility criteria and its applying process.
New Updated CSC Registration Process
Recently, the website of CSC registration has been changed and has come up with new interface, so its registration process. Earlier CSC use to ask many documents, that we need to upload in the website for the registration, but now they only ask Bank and Aadhaar details. We can see the motive of the Government is cleared that they are making the process simple and clear and also digitalized. Thousands of users use to apply for CSC registration every month and do mistakes in it. They don’t know the correct procedure for CSC registration.
So today we are here to explain you correct procedure for CSC registration with the screenshots. Please follow the given steps below for its registration.
A) Steps for CSC registration
- Click on the given link https://register.csc.gov.in/register a form will open in the new window.
- Enter your 10 Digit mobile number that is linked with your Aadhaar card
- Fill the given captcha code and hit the submit button
- You will receive an OTP in your mobile, you need to enter it in next window
- After submitting the OTP on the upcoming window, it will ask you to enter your Email for registration; you need to verify it with OTP.
- A form will open in your window as shown in image below.
- You need to enter your 16 digit virtual ID and your name as per Aadhaar card.
- Then you will find 3 option for authentication Iris, Fingerprint, OTP
Iris and biometric device may not be available at that time, so the best option is OTP. But for that your mobile number must be registered with Aadhar card. - Now fill the given captcha code, checkmark the terms and condition box and hit the submit button.
B) Verify with OTP
A new window will open where you need to generate and verify the OTP, and you need to do it as quick as possible because you just have 15 minutes to do so. The most important thing is you need to check the mentioned above the page to generate OTP.
You will receive your OTP in Email as well as moble. Submit the received OTP and click the verify button.

D) Form Submission view
You will get your complete form view as well as your Application reference number will be generated, make sure to note it. A message will be displayed on your screen saying:-
“Congratulations, your application has been successfully submitted with us, An email will be sent for registration to your Email. We will get back to you once your application is approved.”

Eligibility criteria for CSC Center
- Age: your age must be above 18
- Education: Min Matriculation or any equivalent course from recognized board or university
- Basic knowledge of computer and internet skills like operating a computer, Internet research, and be updated to Government Schemes
- Region: Citizen of India
- Have pan card and 10th level mark sheet
- Other Requirements: You should know the regional language and can translate it in to English.
- Basic of English language
CSC Center Requirement:
- Infrastructure: Workplace of 100-150 Square feet
- Electronic: 2 PCs or Laptops with UPS integration (Hard Disk Min 250GB)
- Printer Inkjet or Laser
- Web Cam and Biometric devices
- CD/DVD writer
- Internet Connection (Average Speed 128 kbps)
Terms and Condition for CSC Center
- The user has to install DigiPay application, and provide CSC services within the 30 Days after getting CSC ID.
- Have to register under IRCTC for providing railways services within 15 days for receiving your CSC ID.
- Have to register under RAP – Rural Authorized Person within 30 days of receiving your CSC ID.
- User has to setup PMGDISHA Center within 90 days of getting CSC ID in the village.
- You have to get certified in Telecentre Entrepreneur Course(TEC) within 60 of getting CSC ID.
Apna CSC-VLE Responsibilities
- CSC Center service should be from 8 AM to 8 PM
- There Should be no discrimination
